Even though football had always surrounded her, there was one tournament that completely changed how she experienced the sport emotionally.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Melu was still very young at the time, around six or seven years old, but she remembers it as the moment football started feeling bigger.

“That’s when I started to understand how the game is lived.”

The energy around the World Cup, the atmosphere inside every match, the way entire countries stopped to watch together, it left a permanent impression on her.

As her audience continued growing across Instagram and TikTok, opportunities inside the football creator world started appearing naturally.

The matches themselves were already exciting, but coming across legends like Roberto Baggio and Leonardo Bonucci made the experience feel surreal.

“I didn’t expect that at all.”

Those moments are difficult to imagine when someone first starts posting videos online from their bedroom or recording football reactions casually for social media.

Behind Melu Bertetti’s growth has always been someone who encouraged her from the beginning.

Her mother.
