This year at Double Tap, we had the honour of partnering with FIFA to help launch the new era of the FIFA Club World Cup, and what a ride it’s been.

With the tournament’s brand-new format debuting in 2025, FIFA entrusted us with delivering a creator-led, community-powered global campaign, and the results speak for themselves:

From the Trophy Launch to The Draw, the Trophy Tour, 100 Days To Go, and an Always-On creator strategy, every activation played a part in turning up the hype for what’s set to be the biggest Club World Cup yet.
The Trophy Tour: 21 Countries. 33 Stops.
Starting in January, the newly designed Tiffany & Co. trophy travelled the globe visiting the cities of every participating club. From iconic landmarks and stadiums to surprise fan moments, the Trophy Tour was a cultural celebration of football and its global community.

In New York, the trophy was unveiled at Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store alongside Gianni Infantino, Robbie Williams and Javier Zanetti, with creators like Casey Neistat and Enisa sharing the magic with their audiences.
The stops in Al Ain and Al Hilal alone gathered a combined 12.7M views, and the Inter Miami visit featuring Celine Dept and Luva de Pedreiro stole the show with a mind-blowing 68M views from that stop alone.
Creators at the Heart of It All
This campaign wouldn’t be what it is without the power of creators.
Fabrizio Romano kicked off post-draw content with a reel that pulled in 3.4M+ views and 95K likes.
Juego de Doce personified each team with hilarious precision, gathering 1.8M views and 50K likes.
Celine Dept sprinted through Inter Miami’s stadium in true viral form — ending with 14M+ views and 455K likes.
Laneksa, Dalila, Markito Navaja, DJ Mario, Rose Ruland, Matty FC, Ben Black, Kalogeras Sisters, MC Menor JP, Mehdi Amri, La Cobra, Samy Chaffaï, Kang So Yeon, and so many more made this campaign a global mosaic of voices, styles, and fandom.
Together, they helped bring the tournament to life in a way no traditional campaign ever could.
And Then… the Draw
We warmed up for the tournament with a draw unlike any other:
50+ creators from 20+ countries shared their anticipation, hitting 75M+ views.
A prediction filter used by 31 creators drove 2.5M+ views.
12 global streamers, including Djmariio and Flow Sports Club, streamed the draw live to 1.3M+ viewers.
Post-draw content alone added 30M+ views, with creators like Pitch Addict, Junichi Kato, and Negrete generating major buzz.
One Final Moment to Remember 🏆
As the campaign came full circle, we had the chance to witness Double Tap family member Marc Cucurella lift the Club World Cup trophy as Chelsea were crowned champions.
