Inside the Netherlands Jersey Reveal: How Two Creators Got Pitchside Access with Virgil van Dijk
Imagine being one of the first people in the world to see the new Netherlands national team jersey and then meeting Virgil van Dijk while you're at it.
That's exactly what happened to two of our creators.
Ilse Van Esch, known across Europe for her football training content and matchday experiences, and Appie, whose freestyle and panna skills have built him a dedicated following, were invited into something most fans only dream about.
Through a collaboration with Nike and the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), they each received a personalised invitation box the kind that tells you straight away this isn't going to be an ordinary event.

From the Reveal to the Touchline
The experience carried straight into matchday. For Netherlands vs. Norway, Ilse and Appie were taken pitchside not in the stands, not in the press box, but right at the edge of the action.
The Netherlands won 2-1, which didn't hurt either.
From the touchline to the VIP hospitality areas, they lived every moment of it — the kind of access that changes how you experience football entirely.
Why This Is What Double Tap Does
This is the work. Not just getting creators into stadiums, but getting them into the moments that matter.
At Double Tap, we build opportunities that go beyond watching the game. We put creators where the story is, next to the players, inside the experience, creating content that connects with fans in real time.
Football is at the centre of it. But what we really deliver is access to the things fans never normally get to see
