Double Tap

Taste The Action goes International!

The Taste The Action series is back for more - This time for the UEFA WEURO 2025, as Double Tap produced 5 brand new episodes, continuing the project that kicked off during last year’s UEFA Europa and Conference League.

Kicking it off

On the opening day of the tournament, we landed in Basel. Hosts Daniyal Khan and Lirian Santos explored the Swiss city to find its best bites.

The day began the Swiss way—on the water. Daniyal kicked things off, floating down the Rhine, just like the locals. For the first stop, of course, it had to be the famous cheese fondue, where Lirian earned herself a forfeit by dropping the bread. After a show of freestyle skills, the duo dived into a game-day favourite, the cheeseburger. And of course, no food tour is complete without dessert—cinnamon rolls wrapped things up just in time for kick-off between Switzerland and Norway.

Quick Collect

To showcase Just Eat’s newest stadium feature, Lirian Santos was given a list of challenges to complete in Basel! Selfie with a superfan? Check! Nutmeg a stranger? Too easy! Then it was time to test out the new Quick Collect feature. Ordering from the seat, Lirian skipped the queues at the food stand, and was back in time to catch all the goals.

Low Carbon, High Flavour

Louis Matthews switched things up with an eco-themed challenge. Fans were quizzed on carbon footprint, sustainability facts, and how our everyday choices impact the planet. With head-to-head challenges, individuals and teams competed against each other for WEURO-themed prizes in guessing what items have a lower carbon footprint.

Joshua’s night

The final episode was a special one. Joshua’s a fellow young football fan whose Make-A-Wish it was to deliver a match ball at a major final. In collaboration with Just Eat and UEFA, his wish came true. As the players lined up in the tunnel at St. Jakob-Park, Joshua led the way, carrying the final match ball of the tournament onto the pitch. A powerful reminder of just how beautiful the game can be.
