The Brief
DAZN wanted to bring fresh energy to its coverage of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 with a campaign that would go beyond the matches themselves. The challenge was to highlight the cultural heartbeat of the tournament through creative storytelling that resonated with global fans. The objective was to host DAZN’s “Chasing The Trophy” series in a way that felt entertaining, authentic, and aligned with the brand’s voice, while still achieving measurable reach and engagement.
Execution
Double Tap partnered with creators Matty FC and Rose Ruland to front scripted episodes for DAZN’s “Chasing The Trophy” campaign. Each episode shone a spotlight on unique football cultures, from Inter Miami to Seattle Sounders. The creators brought personality and humour to the storytelling, while the content was distributed primarily through DAZN’s own channels with only minimal creator promotion.
This approach ensured the series felt true to DAZN’s brand while still tapping into creator-led formats that fans love. Collectively, the two episodes surpassed 165,000 views, generating strong engagement across DAZN’s platforms and reinforcing the value of blending broadcast-quality production with authentic creator energy.
