The Brief

Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur wanted to connect with global audiences in a way that felt natural to fans and authentic to their players. The challenge was to move beyond traditional content and create moments that could live natively on social media, driving huge engagement and reach. The objective was clear: collaborate with the right creators and showcase the stars of both clubs in fun, shareable formats that resonate with millions.

Double Tap teamed up with some of the biggest digital creators to produce high-energy activations that matched the personality of the clubs and their players. For Manchester City, we worked with Celine Dept, Akkamist and Mercedes Roa, who brought challenges and content formats that put Jack Grealish, Savinho and Manuel Akanji in the spotlight.

The results were record-breaking, with Celines videos alone surpassing 553 million views, Akkamist adding 133 million, and Mercedes contributing 71 million, for a combined total of more than 757 million views.

For Tottenham Hotspur, Celine Dept and Pitch Addict delivered another wave of fan-first content, producing challenges, mini-games and iconic celebration recreations with both mens and womens stars, including Mathys Tel, Yves Bissouma and Wilson Odobert. These activations generated over 300 million views and sparked global conversation. By aligning creators with player personalities, Double Tap transformed routine club content into viral fan experiences that travelled far beyond the pitch.
