EAFC TOTY NL + RUSH
EA Sports wanted to put a global spotlight on two major football gaming moments: the Team of the Year 2024 and the launch of FC25’s brand-new mode, RUSH. The challenge was to create content that would cut through on social media, balancing the scale of the game’s reputation with authentic creator storytelling. Double Tap’s goal was to drive visibility, showcase the excitement of TOTY and RUSH, and create formats that felt fun, shareable and instantly engaging for fans worldwide.
For the EAFC Team of the Year 2024, Double Tap activated creators Akkamist and Ilse van Esch using life-size EA FC nominee cards. Akkamist revealed his top three picks, while Ilse added flair by selecting her favourite players and recreating their iconic celebrations and moves. Together, the content took off, generating more than 25 million views and sparking conversation across platforms.
To bring FC25’s new game mode RUSH to life, Pitch Addict joined forces with three PSG player duos, tackling in-game challenges that mirrored the energy and competitiveness of the new feature. The result was light-hearted, highly entertaining content that connected fans to the new mode, already reaching over 3 million views. By combining top creators, star players and playful formats, Double Tap turned EA Sports’ key launches into social-first moments with global impact.
