The Brief
To mark the tenth anniversary of Johan Cruyff’s passing, the ambition was to premiere a four part docuseries in a way that reflected his legacy. The challenge was clear: make a documentary feel big enough to fill the Johan Cruyff ArenA.
Execution
Rather than treating it as a release, Double Tap helped position the premiere as a live cultural moment. The focus was on building an experience around the content, not just promoting it.
40,000 fans gathered inside the stadium to watch two full episodes projected across the pitch, transforming a documentary into a shared live experience.
Working alongside SportVibes and Lusus, Double Tap led marketing, communications, social and content capture.
