The Brief
EA Sports set out to amplify two key moments in the FC calendar, Team of the Year 2024 and the launch of FC25’s RUSH mode. The challenge was to cut through on social media by making each moment feel immediate, entertaining and built for sharing.
Execution
For the EAFC Team of the Year 2024, Double Tap activated creators Akkamist and Ilse van Esch using life-size EA FC nominee cards. Akkamist revealed his top three picks, while Ilse added flair by selecting her favourite players and recreating their iconic celebrations and moves. Together, the content took off, generating more than 25 million views and sparking conversation across platforms.
To bring FC25’s new game mode RUSH to life, Pitch Addict joined forces with three PSG player duos, tackling in-game challenges that mirrored the energy and competitiveness of the new feature. The result was light-hearted, highly entertaining content that connected fans to the new mode, already reaching over 3 million views. By combining top creators, star players and playful formats, Double Tap turned EA Sports’ key launches into social-first moments with global impact.
