Creator impact at the FIFA Club World Cup!

The FIFA Club World Cup kicked off yesterday, but at Double Tap, we’ve been working alongside FIFA since the start of the year to bring impact to their global Trophy Tour.

From January to June, the newly designed Club World Cup Trophy has travelled between each participating club, completing 33 stops in 21 countries over 6 different continents.

At each destination, the Trophy Tour became a celebration. Fans worldwide got to see the trophy up close, while the spirit of each club and city came to life through culture, between musical acts and local food, as well as events at iconic landmarks.

To make this tour truly global, we brought 77 different creators whose content generated over 140 million views on all platforms to the tour. Here are just some of the creators who have attended:

Matty FC has tried to get his hands on the trophy in Seattle, Laneksa went viral with her multiple content pieces at Al Ain, and Fabrizio Romano joined the tour in Milano, giving a Here We Go to the competition.

We even had a special guest - Gerard Piqué picked his favourite in a Kings League vs Club World Cup bracket!

The biggest impact was delivered on the second-to-last stop, where two of the biggest football content creators in the world, Celine Dept and Luva De Pedreiro, visited Inter Miami. They toured the stadium, went pitchside and saw the trophy, delivering a staggering 68 million views from that stop alone.

This tour has been about more than just football. It was about connection, culture, community, fans and love for the game.
